In the role of front office employee, you are the first point of contact for all customers and you act as the calling card of the Municipality Vlissingen . Your employability extends to various areas, ranging from customer service to the information desk and front office counters. This gives you the opportunity to fulfill a versatile role and develop your skills in various areas.

Your day: Getting your driver's license, getting married, having children, moving abroad. These are all examples of topics on which residents contact the municipality. They do this at one of the counters of the city office, by telephone or increasingly via digital services. Together with your colleagues, you handle all common matters in an appropriate manner every day.

What we offer you:

  • An employment contract of at least 32 hours per week.
  • A salary between € 2,404 and € 3,481 gross per month based on 36 hours in accordance with scale 6 collective labor agreement for Municipalities.

  • Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer.

What we ask of you:

  • You have at least MBO work and thinking level
  • You have a legal background or experience in a municipal organization (This is an advantage)
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in hospitality, services, telephony or front office
  • You have strong communication skills and you speak English in addition to Dutch
