Accountant

We are immediately looking for an accountant for an international port company in Ritthem . You will be part of a small team. You participate in various processes and you bear a number of direct responsibilities. Because our customer provides customized transport with 'shortsea' and/or intermodal solutions using their own containers and trailers, they are Europe's leading logistics service provider. We will therefore have to be able to rely on your knowledge and experience. This also applies to all our customers who have accounting or accounting related questions.

Your duties as an accountant include:

• Provide periodic management reporting
• Quarterly and annual closing of the accounts
• Preparation of the annual accounts
• Tax returns

Our client is a European logistics service provider that provides transport solutions and other logistics services using road, sea and rail transport. This international company is divided into four divisions: Containers, Trailers, Flats & Projects and Forwarding. What we offer you:

• A salary between €3500 - €4500 gross per month, based on a full-time working week
• Full-time position (32 hours is negotiable)
• Training and education, both inside and outside the company
• Travel allowance at 0.21 cents per km
• You have 25 vacation days per year
• 8.33% holiday allowance and a constructive end-of-year bonus

What we ask of you:

• Do you have at least a completed HBO education, preferably towards SPD, MBA or equivalent
• At least 1 year of work experience in an accounting firm or accounting department
• Experience working with various types of software, including Excel
• Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language
