Foreman / foreman Mowing crew

As a foreman or woman you play an important role in the team at the municipality Middelburg , where you are responsible for managing and supervising the mowing team.

You ensure that the team gets started in the morning, so that everyone knows their tasks for the day. At the end of the afternoon you meet the team again and discuss the day. 
During the day you check whether everything is going well within the team and provide guidance where necessary. Your tasks also include: 

• Contact a technician regarding a broken or stuck mower
• Ensure that the lawn mowers are maintained daily by your employees
• Read mowing maps to see which part needs to be mowed and in what way

It is important that you have an affinity with the target group, a significant part of our mowing men and women come from Orionis. Your job is to create a positive work environment where everyone feels good. In addition, we expect: 

• You are available for 32 to 36 hours per week.
• You are in possession of a driver's license.
• You can read a mowing map to see which part is mowed and in what way.
• It is an advantage if you know the area Middelburg .
• Preference is given to someone with some technical knowledge.
