Transport planning coordinator

What will you do as a Transport Planning Coordinator:

You will work in a team of transport planners, junior transport planners, support officers and transport supervisors, working from the central Network Control Center in Utrecht . In this role you are the supervisor's right hand and you act as a point of contact for the team of transport planners and support officers. They can contact you with their questions and together with the supervisor you continuously strive to improve the transport processes. 

Your most important tasks:

• You support and advise your fellow colleagues on transport planning.
• You maintain daily contact with colleagues in the operation, drivers and stakeholders.
• Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the planning of approximately 350 trucks throughout the Benelux.
• You support the supervisor with optimizing processes and ensure a pleasant working atmosphere.

Important: The working hours for this role are in 3 shifts (08:30-17:00; 18:00-02:30; 21:30-06:00)

• Immediately a contract with DHL for 32 to 40 hours
• A salary between € 3177.56 - € 4451.73 gross per month based on 40 hours depending on your knowledge & experience. Excl. shift allowance.
• ORT surcharge (Monday to Friday 6:00 PM - 24:00 25% Monday to Friday 00:00 - 06:00 30% Saturday 00:00 - 24:00 50% Sundays and public holidays 00:00 - 24:00 50%)
• 23 vacation days with the option to purchase an additional 4.5 days + 8% vacation pay.
• Free choice budget of 2.16% of your gross annual salary
• Laptop and phone.
• Travel allowance of €0.21 per km.

What we ask of you:

As a person, you are someone who is flexible and can switch quickly when unforeseen situations arise. In addition, you bring knowledge within transport and logistics aimed at transport planning, you also have:

• Experience as a planner within transport & logistics. 
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
